Sharon (she, they) is thrilled to be returning to San Francisco Playhouse this season! She previously performed on this stage in Waitress, Chinglish, and The Paper Dreams of Harry Chin, through which they received three San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics nominations and one award. Regional credits include The Far Country (Berkeley Repertory Theatre), Little Women (Theatre Works Silicon Valley), The Winter’s Tale, and The Good Person of Szechwan (California Shakespeare Theater). She is a proud company member of Oakland Theatre Project, Shotgun Players, and 8th Best Legs Productions, and has developed, produced, and performed in several productions through these collaborations, including an original cabaret called Sex, Camp, Rock ‘n Roll at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Sharon earned a BA in theatre arts and psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and loves working with artists of all ages to help find their true voice. sharonshao.biz
