Kareem is a Bipoc performer and choreographer in Northern California. He began his education in theatre and dance at Monterey Trail High School and went on to train and perform with Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre. Kareem was a dancer in the Amber DeLaRosa music video “Get to Me” and was in the companies of Fat Ham and My Fair Lady here at San Francisco Playhouse. He recently played Andre in Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Sacramento Theatre Company) and Gary Coleman in Avenue Q. Kareem loved being a teaching artist for the last three years at STC and has choreographed productions such as The Polar Express for Warner Brother Entertainment and many other projects working in dance education. “You are enough” – Sierra Boggess @kareemesteem_
