
Phaedra (she, her) is a Bay Area theatre artist, producer, advocate, and emerging playwright dedicated to inclusive storytelling. She currently serves as associate producer and casting manager at SFBATCO and co-hosts Creatively Shaded, a podcast amplifying Black theatre experiences. Her original play, Sistahfriend, reflects her commitment to centering complex, authentic stories of sisterhood. Her acting credits include The Day the Sky Turned Orange (SFBATCO), Fat Ham (San Francisco Playhouse), The Black Feminist Guide to the Human Body, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and The Color Purple. A devoted teaching artist, Phaedra is currently working with SFArtsEd, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Pacifica Singers and Players, and SFBATCO. She is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Black Futures Award from Zaccho Dance Theatre and is a 2025-2026 New Black Voices Resident Artist with Lorraine Hansberry Theatre.
