Cai is an Oakland native and multi-disciplinary performer who is grateful for the opportunity to make her San Francisco Playhouse debut. She studied theatre performance and business studies at Emerson College and now teaches visual art, directs musical theatre, and works as a drama teacher for two Oakland schools. Her recent credits include serving as the Deloris understudy in Sister Act and performing in productions of Hello, Dolly! (as the Minnie Fay understudy), Anastasia, and In the Heights at Woodminster Amphitheater last season. She extends heartfelt thanks to the cast, this community, her mom Cynthia, Aunt Darlene, the St. Paul community, Flo, Venus, and all those who have continued to support her journey.
