Sidney Matthew is over the (blood-red) moon to work with San Francisco Playhouse for the first time on Dracula. Recent credits include The Lin Manuel Miranda Effect Cabaret (SFBATCO at Feinstein’s at the Nikko), understudy for Kevin Jung, Ali, and Bob in Come From Away (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley), Man 1 in Songs for a New World and Prince Topher in Cinderella (Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory), Marcus and understudy for Rayan in The Day the Sky Turned Orange (SFBATCO, Z Space), Benny in In the Heights and Simon and understudy for Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar (Sunnyvale Community Players), and Jamie in The Last Five Years (Pear Theater, Sunnyvale Community Players). Offstage, he works as a software engineer at YouTube Trust and Safety and is a passionate aquatic megafauna fanatic and ocean conservationist.
