Ezra (they, them) is an actor, writer, director, comedian, and drag king. They recently appeared in Travesty (Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company), Velour: A Drag Spectacular directed by Moisés Kaufman (La Jolla Playhouse), and The Wizard of Oz directed by Sam Pinkleton (American Conservatory Theater). Television credits include the GLAAD-nominated The 4400 (The CW Network). Regional credits include Happy Pleasant Valley: A Senior Sex Scandal Murder Mystery Musical (Theatre Works Silicon Valley, Center REP), The Daughters and As You Like It (San Francisco Playhouse), and The Red Shades (Z Space). New York work includes A (Micro) History of World Economics, Danced (La MaMa E.T.C/PS122) and New York and international productions of The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O’Neill (New York Times Critic’s Pick, Drama Desk nominee) by the New York Neo-Futurists, where Ezra is a former co-artistic director. As a comedian, they has opened for Janeane Garofalo, Bob Odenkirk, and Paul F. Tompkins, and shared the stage with Michael Ian Black (SF Sketchfest). They also directed and co-produced The Compton’s Cafeteria Riot. Ezra earned a BFA at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, trained at the Atlantic Acting Conservatory, and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. @itsolivergarden
