Kevin Porter

Kevin Porter has been a full-time professional musician since graduating from high school. Arriving in the Bay Area in 1980, he quickly became an in-demand low brass specialist, doing numerous recordings, films, television, and theater work, as well as conventions, shows, nightclubs, and casuals in a wide variety of styles and formats. He worked extensively in the Los Angeles theaters from 1996-2000 as well. Beginning in 2000, his primary work in the Bay Area has been contracting and playing for Broadway San Francisco as well as ACT and the Curran. He’s done such shows as My Fair Lady, Hamilton, Book of Mormon, Wicked, Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, Liza Minelli, Hugh Jackman, Spamalot and Les Miserables.
