Michael Ray is an award winning actor who is well known to Bay Area audiences with a career that spans three decades. He most recently performed at San Francisco Playhouse in Ideation. Recent roles include Macduff in Dunsinane (Marin Theatre Company), Bill in August: Osage County (San Jose Stage Company), Iago in Othello (African-American Shakespeare Company), Ray in Blackbird (Pacific Repertory Theatre), and Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (San Francisco Shakespeare Festival). Off-Broadway, international, and regional credits include 59E59 Theaters in New York City, Teatro Santa Ana in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Aurora Theatre Company, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Magic Theatre, Center REPertory Company, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Marin Shakespeare Company, Sierra Repertory Theatre, and 42nd Street Moon.
