Malia Abayon

Malia (she, her) is excited to be back at San Francisco Playhouse where she recently performed in Guys and Dolls. Other credits include Alice in The Book of Will, the ensemble and understudying Nina for In the Heights (Center REPeratory Company), a swing and understudying Audrey for Little Shop of Horrors, and a Kit Kat Girl in Cabaret (6th Street Playhouse). Favorite roles include Mimi in Rent, Adela in The House of Bernarda Alba, The Acid Queen in The Who’s Tommy, and performing in Revelations the Musical (Off Broadway). Malia earned a BA in dramatic arts from the University of California, Davis, and trained at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York. She teaches Inferno Hot Pilates classes in her spare time and is grateful to continue working in theatre as a teaching artist and performer. maliaabayon.com | @Malialia27
