Jose Antonio is thrilled to make his San Francisco Playhouse debut with the awesome company of Mary Poppins! It is indeed, a Jolly Holiday! Originally from Oakland, Jose has traveled the world with Norwegian Cruise Lines and Nickelodeon, and toured the U.S. with the Broadway national tour of Memphis the musical (SWING/FIGHT CAPTAIN/Asst. DANCE CAPTAIN). Jose spent many years in NYC and was very lucky to perform with Westchester Broadway Theatre in Man of La Manch as well as off-Broadway with Naked Boys Singing! Some favorite credit include West Side Story (Bernardo), A Chorus Line(Richie), La Cage (Phaedra), Spring Awakening (Ernst), and Mary Poppins (Neleus). Jose is currently studying health sciences to be a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He will also be CrossFit and NASM certified this spring to help you reach your fitness goals!
