Jamiel is of Palestinian, Chamoru, and Filipino descent from Vallejo. He is an arts facilitator at the Red Ladder Theatre Company, a nationally acclaimed award-winning social justice theatre company. Jamiel earned a BA in film and electronic arts from California State University, Long Beach and is a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. He started his theatre training at Solano Community College and also trained at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the Academy of Art University, and Studio A.C.T. Stage credits include Balthazar in Our Lady of 121st Street (Stella Adler Studio of Acting), Acaste in The Misanthrope (Academy of Art University), Jason in Medea (California Repertory Company), and Lord Capulet in Star Cross’d (The Hollywood Fringe Festival). Jamiel is a multifarious artist that surrounds himself with culture, art, travel, and sports. He is a storyteller that aims to honor the overall importance of theatre and film in our humanity, while creating stories that reflect the diversity of the world.
