James (he, him) is excited to make his San Francisco Playhouse debut with this wacky, meta-comedy infused with the creativity, generational trauma, and teenage angst he also experienced growing up Asian American at the turn of the millennium. Recent theatre work includes The Great Leap (Center REP, Oklahoma City Repertory Theater, San Jose Stage Company), Sanctuary City and The Great Wave (Berkeley Repertory Theatre), PrEP Play: Or Blue Parachute and The Book of Mountains and Seas (New Conservatory Theatre Center). Offstage, he’s regularly sequestered in his vocal booth, lending his thousand and one voices to animations, video games, and audiobooks.
