Chanel Tilghman

Chanel Tilghman headshotChanel (she, they) originally hails from the Bay Area, and earned a BA in communication and a double minor in theatre and music industry from the University of Southern California. Regional theatre credits include Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz (American Conservatory Theater), Belle in A Christmas Carol (Center REPertory Company), and Kitty Bennet in the musical Pride and Prejudice by Paul Gordon (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley). Other notable stage performances include Matilda, Little Shop of Horrors, and Mamma Mia! (Berkeley Playhouse), Kinky Boots (Ray of Light Theatre), Passing Strange (Shotgun Players), The Little Mermaid (Lucky Penny Productions), and In the Heights (Contra Costa Civic Theatre). Chanel has participated in readings of new works at the BIPOC Playwright’s Festival with Boise Contemporary Theater and the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Co (SFBATCO). Chanel is a seasoned teaching artist, educating K-12 youth in theatre arts across the greater Bay Area.
