César Lino

Cesar Lino headshotCésar (he, him) is delighted to be making his debut with San Francisco Playhouse. A native of Oaxaca, México, he received his dance education at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. His favorite roles in the classical repertoire include Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (San José Dance Theatre), the Prince and the Sugarplum Cavalier in The Nutcracker (Ballet Petit) and the Golden Idol from The Bayadere (Peninsula Ballet Theatre). Musical theatre and opera credits include Bernardo in West Side Story and Dido and Aeneas (Opera San José), The Pirates of Penzance (Lyric Theater of San José), and Ruddygore (Lamplighters Musical Theatre). César made his choreographic debut last summer in Cruzar la Cara de la Luna (West Edge Opera). He is also a certified flexologist and a personal trainer who enjoys working out and taking relaxing walks in the city while listening to Bad Bunny and Britney Spears. @therealcesarlino
