Tiiu (she, her) is the development director for San Francisco Playhouse. In nearly ten years on staff here, she has loved the chance to understudy, including past work in Ideation, Company, Born in East Berlin, and Follies. Tiiu is thrilled to join Guys and Dolls, her favorite production since performing the role of Adelaide (at far too young an age.) Her professional acting credits span over twenty-five years, including many based out of New York City. National tours include Female Authority Figure and understudying in Hairspray and Mother in The Giver. Other favorites include Baby (Bristol Riverside Theatre), the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hertz in Rock of Ages (Center REPertory Company), and a one-woman show aboard Oceania Cruises. Tiiu earned a degree in musical theatre from Ball State University and a diploma in dance and musical theatre from the Academy of the Arts. She has been a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association since 2008.
