Chris Vettel*

Happily making his Playhouse debut, Chris (he, him, his) is no stranger to the theatre, concert and operatic stages. His credits include Bert Healy in the thirtieth anniversary tour of Annie with Kathie Lee Gifford, and Cliff and understudy for Joe Gillis in the second national tour of Sunset Boulevard with Petula Clark. Bay Area theatre credits include Mr. Bennet in the world premiere of Pride and Prejudice (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle nomination), Rev. Morrell in the West Coast premiere of A Minister’s Wife  (San Jose Repertory Theatre, SFBATCC nomination), and Don Quixote/Cervantes in Man of La Mancha (Sacramento Theatre Company). Regional credits include Santa Claus in The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Abel in State Fair (STAGES St. Louis), and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Paper Mill Playhouse). Chris also performed as a soloist with the Opera Company of Boston, Opera Cleveland, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra in the final concert conducted by Leonard Bernstein. chrisvettel.com
