Three generations of marvelous Iranian women come together for the holidays. They try to deal with Facebook hackers, boy issues, and worst of all, each other’s differing opinions. Who will survive the night?

Anita Abdinezhad
Anita is an actor/writer based in NYC. In March, she will begin rehearsals for the Broadway production of POTUS, or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive directed by Susan Stroman. As a writer, her latest TV pilot, Fareeda’s Phantasias, was a semifinalist at this past year’s Sundance Episodic Lab. In May, Anita will graduate from Columbia’s MFA Acting program. Dalia Ashurina
Dalia Ashurina is a media and theatre director who focuses her work on the highest intersection of both stark honesty and explosive theatricality. She aims to create theatrical experiences that you can see, hear, feel, and taste, all while lifting the voices of women and those of Middle Eastern descent. She currently serves as the Resident Director of Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Her most recent new play development work has been seen at Dixon Place and Access Theatre in NYC and heard on the Parsnip Ship Radio Theatre Podcast.  She is an alumnus of the Allen Lee Hughes Fellowship in Directing at Arena Stage and before that, assisted at Center Theatre Group and Cornerstone Theatre. Nora Armani
Nora Armani is an award-winning multilingual actor/filmmaker. International stage and screen credits include Terrorism at the LenFest Center NYC, Piradello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author Off-Broadway, Back on the Couch with Nora Armani, Mercedes, The King and I, and iMigrant Woman. Recent TV includes Black List: Redemption (NBC), Casualty (BBC), Golden Boy (CBS), The Friends (Egypt TV). As a filmmaker she has screened at Cannes, Rotterdam, Paris, London, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Kerala, Monaco, Shanghai, Yerevan, New York, and more. Nora is the Founding Artistic Director of SR Socially Relevant Film Festival NY since 2013. She holds a MA Degree in Theatre from Hunter College CUNY, a Masters Degree in Sociology from LSE, University of London, and teaches theatre and media internationally. Member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
