Teresa Attridge

TERESA ATTRIDGE (Marta) could drive a person crazy with how excited she is to make her SF Playhouse debut in Company! She was last seen in the regional premiere of Heathers: The Musical with ROLT. Other roles include Kent in King Lear and Mariana/Mistress Overdone in Measure for Measure (The Metropolitan Club), Christmas Eve in Avenue Q (NCTC) Jan-The-Sly in the West Coast Premiere of Yeast Nation by the creators of Urinetown (ROLT), Yitzhak/Hedwigin Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Boxcar), Van’s Sister in Dog Sees God (Boxcar), and the original chorus swing for the World Premiere of The Speakeasy SF (Boxcar). Velina-Brown
VELINA BROWN* (Sarah) is pleased to return to San Francisco Playhouse after her Playhouse debut in Abraham Lincoln’s Big Gay Dance Party  which was a big SF hit, won Best of the Fringe at the New York Fringe Festival and for which Velina won a Bay Area Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress. Velina is also a singer/songwriter, and co artistic director of the San Francisco Mime Troupe. You may have seen her as well as at the American Conservatory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, The Magic Theatre, Theatre Rhino, TheatreWorks, Shotgun Players, Central Works, Symmetry Theatre, The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre and The Denver Theatre Center among others. Morgan-Dayley

MORGAN DAYLEY* (April) is ecstatic to be back with San Francisco Playhouse! She recently danced her way through the holidays in Promises, Promises as Vivien. Other Bay Area credits include Little Nell/Polly in Pear Slices (Pear Avenue Theatre), Lady of the Lake in Spamalot (Stage 1), Rita in White Christmas (CMTSJ), and Lois Lane/Bianca in Kiss Me, Kate (SBMT). Recently Morgan was listed as an “Actor to Watch Out For” at the Silicon Valley Small Theatre Awards. Some other favorite roles include Lynne in A Grand Night for Singing, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible. Morgan earned her MFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2013.

Michelle-Drexler
MICHELLE DREXLER* (Kathy [Understudy – Jenny]) is ecstatic to be returning to the Playhouse for her third summer after instagraming her way through the kingdom with her twin as Cinderella’s stepsisters in Into the Woods and living the lusty life as one of the ladies of Camelot. Ryan-Drummond

RYAN DRUMMOND* (David) is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. He has been making a living at this acting/singing thing for 22 years and counting. In that time, he’s been in a world premiere play written by Aaron Sorkin, made three albums with his acappella group (The A.Y.U. Quartet), became a certified trainer of Polish and French mime, juggled for orcas and otters at Sea World of San Diego, harmonized mid-ocean on Regency Cruise Lines, didn’t make the cheer squad in Bring It On, nearly had his nose blown off by a confetti cannon in Kauai, was the original voice of  “Sonic The Hedgehog” in millions of videogames across the world, is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and AGVA, and has been doing theatre constantly since 1980 when he was cast in his first show.  He’ll never forget his first director who sent him on this journey, his dearly departed father, David Drummond. Richard-Frederick

RICHARD FREDERICK* (Larry) San Francisco Playhouse: Pickering in My Fair Lady and Elwood in Harper Regan; Theatreworks: The Light in the Piazza, Emma, Opus, and New Works readings of The Great Pretender and The Giver; as well as work at American Conservatory Theatre, Central Works, AMTSJ (R.I.P.), among others. Regionally at Ford’s Theatre (DC), Hangar Theatre (NY) Casa Manana (TX), Theatre Three (TX), and Dallas Children’s Theatre (TX). Richard served as Assistant Director to Bill English on Camelot. He was Esau in Contractor’s Routine, which premiered at the Buffalo Niagara International Film Festival. He holds an MFA from The Shakespeare Theatre at George Washington University.

John-Paul-Gonzalez

JOHN PAUL GONZALEZ (Paul [Understudy – Robert])is so excited to be doing Sondheim with this incredible cast. A graduate of the Pacific Conservatory of The Performing Arts, he has worked with San Francisco Playhouse, Shotgun Players, Contra Costa Civic Theater, Berkeley Playhouse and will be seen this December in Yosemite National Park with The Bracebridge Dinner. Love and thanks to his best squirrel friend Glo, and his amazing boyfriend Sean.

Monique-Hafen
MONIQUE HAFEN (Amy) is overjoyed to be spending her 4th summer at the San Francisco Playhouse! In previous summers, Monique has played Cinderella in Into the Woods, Guenevere in Camelot, and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. Other shows include Promises, Promises and Harper Regan at the SF Playhouse. She is a winner of two Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards for her roles in Camelot and My Fair Lady. She is also the humble recipient of a TBA Award for her role as Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera (SJ Stage). Keith-Pinto

KEITH PINTO (Robert) is thrilled to return to San Francisco Playhouse after appearing in Into The Woods (Baker). Tours: Fame the Musical, European and North American. Regional: 1776 (Roger Sherman), Scapin (Gendarme), American Conservatory Theater; Fly By Night (Joey Storms), TheatreWorks; Sweet Charity (Oscar), The Underpants (Theo), Lucky Stiff (Harry), CenterRep; Harry Thaw Hates Everybody (Harry), God‘s Ear (GIJoe/Flight Attendant), Shotgun Players; Where‘s Charley (Charley), Snoopy (Snoopy), 42nd Street Moon; Singin‘ in the Rain (Don), Diablo Theater Company; Becoming Britney (K-Fed/Justin Timberlake), The Retro Dome. Pinto is co-founder of the award winning hip hop band/theater company, Felonious. Felonious theater pieces include: Beatbox: A Raparetta (Zac), Angry Black White Boy (Guy), Campo Santo; Stateless: A Hip Hop Vaudeville (The Pinto), Jewish Theater SF. Felonious has recorded numerous albums and performed with groups such as: The Black Eyed Peas, LL Cool J, The Roots and De La Soul.

Stephanie-Prentice

STEPHANIE PRENTICE* (Joanne) is happy to be working again with San Francisco Playhouse where she was last seen as Norca in Our Lady of 121st Street. Other credits include The Boy Friend at 42nd Street Moon, Sleeping Cutie with Off a Cliff/PlayGround Productions, The Farm at Shotgun Players, and The Comedy of Errors, Romeo and Juliet, and Twelfth Night with Shakespeare at Stinson. She is also a member of the voice faculty at Santa Clara University. Stephanie would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support, and her two young children for their incredible patience.

Christopher-Reber

CHRISTOPHER REBER* (Harry) returns to San Francisco Playhouse after playing Wesley in Jerusalem a few years ago. New York credits include Betty & the Belrays (Joe) at Theater for a New City and The Time of Mendel’s Trouble (Murray) at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. He has been seen at TheatreWorks, Palo Alto in Peter and the Starcatcher (Alf), at San Jose Repertory Theatre in A Christmas Carol 2.0, Jewel theatre in Santa Cruz in Pump Boys and Dinettes (Jim), Arcadia (Chater), and Gunmetal Blues (Sam). He had the privilege of performing in Till We Have Faces (Bardia) at Oxford and Cambridge. This winter, Chris is back to Jewel Theatre to work on another musical. His film and TV appearances include The Tiger Woods Story and 18 Wheels of Justice. Mr. Reber earned his MFA from The Actors Studio Drama School and is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Abby-Sammons

ABBY SAMMONS (Jenny [Understudy – Joanne/Marta]) is incredibly excited to be working with San Francisco Playhouse this summer. Abby spent the last year as a company resident with 42nd Street Moon. She had the privilege of working on rare projects with an amazing amount of talented artists including the lovely Emily Skinner and hilarious Bruce Vilanch. Favorite roles include Amy in Where’s Charley? Kitty in Something for the Boys and Jen in Do I Hear A Waltz? Abby graduated With Honors from Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis with her BFA in Musical Theatre. She thanks her beautiful family and friends for their incredible love. NICOLE WEBER (Susan [Understudy – Amy]) is honored to be performing in her first show at the San Francisco Playhouse! She is a newcomer to the Bay Area having performed with PianoFight productions as Woman in A Merry Forking Christmas, and with the East Bay-based sketch comedy group The Mess. MICHAEL SCOTT WELLS (Peter [Understudy – Paul]) Michael is overjoyed to be making his SF Playhouse debut. No stranger to San Francisco audiences, he has been onstage with 42nd Street Moon (Thou Swell! Thou Witty!: The Rodgers & Hart Salon w/ Faith Prince, Strike Up The Band, Babes In Arms, Once In A Million Moons: The Jerome Kern Salon w/ Rebecca Luker), and with ROLT (The Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald in Assassins). Michael is also a regular performer with Society Cabaret at the Hotel Rex. Recent credits include Mickey Johnstone in Blood Brothers (Altarena Playhouse), Dave in Dreamgirls (BBBay), and Jesus in Godspell *Arty Award – Lead Actor*, Eddie/Dr. Scott in The Rocky Horror Show, and Smee/Nana in Peter Pan (MST). Michael had the honor of originating the role of Big Anthony in the 1st National Tour of Strega Nona The Musical (BACT). ANTHONY ARANDA (Assistant Director) is delighted to be on the San Francisco Playhouse staff and to be working on one of his favorite shows. Previous works include- Complete Female Stage Beauty; Dead Man Walking; Queen of America; The Rocky Horror Show LIVE! for San Jose City Lights; Master Class at Theatreworks; One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at Broadway West- Twelfth Night; Comedy of Errors at Bus Barn Theatre; and The Asshole Monologues (San Francisco and New York City).

SUSI DAMILANO* (Director) is the co-founder and Producing Director of San Francisco Playhouse. She is a five-time recipient of the SF Bay Area Theatre Critic Circle award for Best Female Performance in Abigail’s Party, Harper Regan, Bug, Six Degrees of Separation, and Reckless. Last fall she made her off-Broadway debut in the Playhouse transfer of Bauer. Other plays she has held leading roles at the Playhouse include Coraline, Slasher, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, First Person Shooter, Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, Kimberly Akimbo and The Smell of the Kill. Directing credits include A Behanding in Spokane, Den of Thieves, Into the Woods, Stupid Fucking Bird, Wirehead, west coast premieres of Honey Brown Eyes, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Coronado, The Mystery Plays, Roulette and world premieres of Rhett Rossi’s From Red to Black and Daniel Heath’s Seven Days.

DAVE DOBRUSKY (Music Director) is honored to have been associated with San Francisco Playhouse for 9 years: Into the Woods, Camelot, Putting It Together, Man of LaMancha, My Fair Lady. Resident music director, arranger and orchestrator at 42nd Street Moon Theatre: Nick and Nora, Something for the Boys, The Boy Friend, Do I Hear a Waltz?, Pal Joey, Zorba, Three Sisters, Silk Stockings, other classic / forgotten musicals, cast recordings of Cole Porter’s Leave It to Me and Jerome Kern’s The Cabaret Girl, appearances with Faith Prince, Emily Skinner, Rebecca Luker, Andrea McArdle, Susan Watson, Patricia Morrison, Nancy Dussault, Marni Nixon, Darren Criss. Dave is from Albuquerque and studied at Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

BILL ENGLISH (Set Design) (PROMISES, PROMISES) spent his life producing works of art. Bill is an accomplished singer, pianist and composer. He has acted in films, television and professional theatre and is a member of all the performing unions. Bill’s work has been recognized with numerous awards for acting, directing, sound and set design. Under Bill’s leadership San Francisco Playhouse, has earned multiple nominations and awards making it the fastest growing and most awarded theatre company in San Francisco.

LAUREN ENGLISH (Casting/Artistic Associate) is a founding company member at San Francisco Playhouse where she casts all the main stage and Sandbox productions. Favorite San Francisco Playhouse roles onstage include: Kate in Seminar, The Pilot in Grounded, Steph in reasons to be pretty, Becky in Becky Shaw, Sally in Cabaret, Emily in Our Town and Lisa in The Glory of Living. New York Theater: TACT’s Off Broadway Production of The Cocktail Party, Hamlet at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and The Idealist at The New York Times Theatre. She has also worked at the Public Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, Lark Theatre and Playwrights Realm among others. Locally she has worked for Word for Word, Marin Theatre Company, Marin Shakespeare Company, PlayGround and Magic Theatre among others. She is a two-time BATCC award winner and three-time Dean Goodman award recipient. Training: Foothill Theatre Conservatory, MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program. This spring she will be over at The Aurora Theatre playing Sally in Talley’s Folly.

TATJANA GENSER (Stage Manager) is right behind you, pushing all the buttons for this wonderful show. She’s also a gun for hire as costume, graphics and props designer. Thanks to her guys, B&B, for being the pains in her butt and loves of her life.

ANTON HEDMAN (Sound Engineer) has worked for San Francisco Playhouse going on 2 years now as resident sound engineer. Born and raised in the Bay Area, he is the owner of Hedman Sound and General Manager of Sound Productions. Anton has worked in several venues including: Victoria Theatre, Pier 39, Eureka Theatre, BRAVA (SF) CFRT (Fayetteville, NC) LaMaMA (NYC). He would like to thank his family for their support and the cast and crew of the show for their hard work, badass voices and talent!

THEODORE J.H. HULSKER (Sound Design) is happy to return to San Francisco Playhouse. His previous work here includes Into the Woods, Seminar, Bauer, and Tree. His work can also frequently be heard at Shotgun Theater where past credits include Assassins, Woyzeck, Strangers Babies, Antigonick and Our Town. Other selected credits include The Chairs at Cutting Ball theater and Sleuth at Center Repertory Theater. He is a Mugwumpin Company member and past work with them includes The Great Big Also and the installation piece Luster at the Asian Art Museum. In 2012 he received the Eric Landismen Fellowship for emerging designer and has been thrice nominated for a BATCC award for Sound Design. MAGGIE KOCH (Production Manager) is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, Maggie graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Technical Theatre. In 2005 she began as an intern with San Francisco Playhouse and has been with the company ever since—now taking on the role as a Resident Stage Manager. Some of her favorite productions include: Art, Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, Coronado, Cabaret, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Den of Thieves, Slasher, Wirehead, Tigers Be Still, Period of Adjustment, The Aliens & A Behanding In Spokane, Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson and reasons to be pretty. She would like to thank: her husband, Ed—for always making her laugh, her family—for believing, the SFPH company—for being her second family and her friends—for providing constant support. MIKE “MIGUEL” MARTINEZ (Fight Choreography) is a thirty-five year veteran of the stunt industry, who began his stage combat career in the Wild West Stunt Shows before going on to work in film, television, and commercials. Some of his film credits include, Stunt Double for Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Angels in the Outfield, The Matrix: Reloaded – more recent works are Transformers: Age of Extinction, San Andreas, Looking, and the upcoming Wachowski Siblings series Sense8. He first worked with San Francisco Playhouse as Fight Choreographer for Camelot, winning the Theater Critics Circle Award for Fight Choreography. His work with San Francisco Playhouse includes Camelot, Ideation, Jerusalem, Promises, Promises, Tree, and the Sandbox Series From Red to Black, and 77%. “I grew up going to musicals and cabaret shows with my mother, and became a fan of musicals and theater.”

MICHAEL OESCH+ (Lighting Design) is a lighting designer for musicals, dance, theatre, opera, installations, and film. Since first working with San Francisco Playhouse in 2007, he has designed lights for Tree, Into the Woods, Camelot, reasons to be pretty, My Fair Lady, Becky Shaw, Period of Adjustment, Tigers Be Still, The Fantasticks, Coraline, Animals Out of Paper, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Scene, Cabaret, and Man of La Mancha. He has also designed lighting for numerous companies in the bay area including Smuin Ballet, The Magic Theatre, Trinity Lyric Opera, Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre, 13th Floor Dance, West Wave Dance Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, El Teatro Campesino, Theatre Artaud, Solano College Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, New Conservatory Theatre Center, as well as other companies in the bay area.

KIMBERLY RICHARDS* (Choreographer) launched her versatile career 40 years ago: actress, aerialist, choreographer, comedienne, dancer, director, and illusionist. She co-starred (with Louis Parnell) in San Francisco Playhouse’s first production, It Had to Be You. San Francisco Playhouse choreography: Animals Out of Paper, Coronado, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, First Day of School, Landscapes of the Body, Abraham Lincoln’s Big Gay Dance Party (with Tom Segal) (Best of Fringe, New York, 2009), My Fair Lady (Best Choreography, BATCC, 2012), and last year’s Into the Woods, and Promises, Promises (each nominated for Best Choreography, BATCC). Other Bay Area choreography includes Miss Sally’s Speakeasy Revue (Belrose), Heaven and Private Eyes (Dreamstackers), and Tommy (One World Productions); and in Las Vegas: Lady and the Outlaws (Country Club Casino), and Too Hot to Handle (Flamingo). Since 2001, Kim has toured the continent starring as “Sister” in all 7 installments of the hit one-woman comedy series Late Nite Catechism.

JACQUELYN SCOTT (Set Design/Props Artisan) works as production designer and propsmaster for theaters and film companies throughout the Bay Area. Previous credits include Stupid F**cking Bird, Tree, Into The Woods, Jerusalem, Abigail’s Party, A Behanding in Spokane (San Francisco Playhouse), Stories by Alice Murno, You Know When The Men Are Gone (Word For Word), A Lie of the Mind, Buried Child, The Happy Ones, Annapurna, The Lily’s Revenge, The Brothers Size, Oedipus El Rey, Goldfish, Octopus (Magic Theatre), Assassins, God’s Plot (Shotgun Players), Companion Piece (Z Space), American Hwangap (The Play Company, New York) and all around art department for Terri Timely, Park Pictures, PaperDog and Heist.

SARAH SELIG (Production Assistant) is a graduate of SFSU with her BA in Theater. Her playhouse credits include: Abraham Lincoln’s Big Gay Dance Party, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Coraline, Wirehead, Period of Adjustment, The Aliens, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Motherfucker with the Hat, Camelot, Jerusalem and Promises, Promises. Other stage management credits include: Io Sperro Che Balli at Teatro Della Pergola in Florence, Italy; The 9th Annual Bay One Acts Festival for Three Wise Monkeys; Annie with Broadway by the Bay; and the world premieres of Forever Never Comes for Crowded Fire Theater and The Nature Line with Sleepwalkers Theatre. Lots of love to the cast of this awesome show and my wonderful Playhouse family!

SHANNON SIGMAN (Costume Design) is very excited to be making her San Francisco Playhouse debut. Other design credits include San Jose Reps productions of Disconnect, R. Buckminster Fuller: The History and Mystery of the Universe, The Big Meal and Landscape with Weapons. Her 15-year career as a costumer includes work at San Jose Repertory Theatre, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, TheatreWorks, Opera San Jose, Center Rep and many others. She is currently employed as Costume Shop Manager at West Valley College in Saratoga. Other skills she has picked up through the years include millenary, corsetry, wig design, glass blowing, jewelry design, welding and carpentry to name a few. She was born in San Jose and lives there still with her husband and a pack of four ferocious felines.

ZACH SIGMAN (Technical Theatre Manager) is thrilled to be working his first season at San Francisco Playhouse. He has been working in theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last 20 years for companies like San Jose Repertory Theatre, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Theatreworks, Opera San Jose, and Berkeley Repertory Theatre.

MICAH STIEGLITZ (Projection Design) is an award winning Projection Designer and is proud to be returning to San Francisco Playhouse where previous credits of his include Promises Promises, Camelot, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, and both the San Francisco Playhouse and Off-Broadway production of Bauer. Other local credits include Love and Information at the Strand Theatre with ACT, Breakfast with Mugabe, A Bright New Boise, and Our Practical Heaven at Aurora Theatre Company, Bonnie & Clyde and Harry Thaw Hates Everybody at Shotgun Players.

MICHAEL ANTHONY SCHULER (Swing Pianist) is a linguist, musician and techie, working principally as a vocal coach. Michael studied languages and linguistics at Harvard and has worked as a coach and conductor at European opera houses including Zurich Opera and Hanover State Opera. In recent years he has worked with many Bay Area companies including San Francisco Opera Guild, Opera San Jose, ACT, Lamplighters Music Theatre, San Francisco Playhouse, Cinnabar Theater, and Opera on Tap.
